libNDS stuff (Nintendo DS Homebrew)I had a lot of bad information up here, sorry for not updating it more quickly. This isn't a link site, but I am obligated to link to GBATEK and DSWiki - Graphics Modes because I refer to them a lot.My handle in the "scene" is gabebear, and I've been doing some work on the videogl stuff in libnds. I have a PLY->NDS packed list converter at http://ghearing.com/mtutorial/, that page should walk you through getting models out of Blender and onto your DS. I had been working on getting shadows working with the stencil buffer, but I found out it may potentially be illegal because Creative Labs has a patent on the technique. The problem is the technique was publicly known and used before Creative Labs patented it. Patent 6384822 describes the technique Sim Dietrich presented at a Creative Labs developer's forum in 1999. I hate patents. |
