Rage Pinout

Dave sent me this info:

If you don't need audio I/O from the AIW's ports, there is an easy way to get working cables... just take a standard S-Video cable and break off the tiny plastic key tab inside the cable's plug. The pinout/position then matches the ATI port for the video and will fit the output jack. Take a pair of pliers and round-out the small bump in the metal ring to make it fit in the input jack to.

Note:: you can't use one of those svideo <=> composite adapters, the composite pin would be between 7 and 1.



I also found another layout at Google discussion group, either should work, the only difference is the google one labels the individual grounds. Using the correct grounds might make the signals a bit cleaner, but probably won't help much at all.
